This bespoke joinery project involved the design and installation of two made-to-measure fitted wardrobes for a loft bedroom with sloping ceilings in Great Denham, Bedford. Every cabinet was individually designed to maximise the available space while maintaining a clean, modern and timeless appearance.
One of the wardrobes features a fully integrated TV, seamlessly built into the cabinetry to create a practical yet elegant focal point. Above the television, we installed a concealed cabinet using Blum Aventos lift-up hardware. Although it appears to be a pair of traditional side-opening doors, it opens upwards, maintaining the clean symmetry of the design while providing easy access.
The wardrobes were professionally spray-finished using Tikkurila paints in a colour selected by the client from the Tikkurila colour collection. The complete installation was carried out on-site at the client's home and completed in just 10 days.
Our bespoke craftsmanship includes custom fluted MDF panels, individually routed by us to match the client's vision and create a contemporary, high-end finish. All drawers were custom-built using Blum soft-close drawer runners, while every door is fitted with premium Blum concealed hinges for smooth and reliable operation.
This project demonstrates how bespoke furniture can transform challenging loft spaces into practical, elegant storage solutions while making the most of every available centimetre.
