This project in Clapham, Bedford focused on transforming the entrance hall and landing into a bright, elegant space with timeless detailing and premium finishes.

The centrepiece of the renovation was the installation of bespoke dado wall panelling throughout the hallway and landing, creating a classic architectural feature that perfectly complements the property's style.

The existing staircase was fully prepared, sanded and professionally repainted, giving it a fresh new appearance. To complete the transformation, we installed a premium Ted Todd engineered oak floor in a traditional herringbone pattern, adding warmth, character and durability throughout the entrance area.

We also upgraded the heating system by replacing three radiators with modern vertical models. The pipework was reconfigured so that all pipes now exit discreetly from the walls instead of rising from the floor, resulting in a much cleaner and more refined finish.

Finally, all walls and panelling were finished using Tikkurila ceramic paint, providing a durable, washable surface while maintaining a beautiful, high-quality appearance.

The completed project combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary finishes, creating a welcoming entrance that will remain stylish for many years to come.
