We are currently working for our client in Biddenham. The project involves a complete renovation of three bedrooms and the living room. As you may know, most new-build homes lack proper insulation in floors and walls, which leads to noise transfer between rooms and floors.
Our work includes the full removal of plasterboard from all walls and ceilings, followed by the installation of acoustic insulation within these spaces. The new walls and ceilings will be constructed using the GenieClips system, which will make them fully soundproof.
We have previously used this system in the construction of a recording studio, and we are confident that it is currently the most effective solution available for soundproofing walls and ceilings in residential homes.
As part of the project, we are also installing radiators concealed within skirting boards, completely rewiring the electrical system, and fitting a Sonos sound system hidden discreetly in the ceilings.
The next stages of the project will include finishing work such as painting the staircase, installing dado walls throughout the hallways on all floors, building custom fitted wardrobes in the bedrooms, and creating a feature TV wall in the living room, including the installation of a decorative acoustic wall panel.
