This project in Biddenham was developed in collaboration with STUDIO AI, Architecture & Interiors, together with Ula Witkowska. Ula is a highly creative designer with a strong sense of detail and aesthetic balance, and our collaboration throughout this project was exceptionally smooth and inspiring.

The project features a complete renovation of three bedrooms and the living room. The design addresses a common issue in many new-build homes — insufficient insulation in floors and walls, which often results in noise transfer between rooms and floors.

All existing plasterboard from the walls and ceilings was removed to allow for the installation of high-performance acoustic insulation. The new walls and ceilings were constructed using the GenieClips system, providing full soundproofing throughout the property.

The GenieClips system, previously used in the construction of a recording studio, offers one of the most effective solutions for residential soundproofing available today.

The renovation also includes radiators concealed within skirting boards, a completely rewired electrical system, and a discreetly integrated Sonos sound system installed within the ceilings.

Finishing touches include painted staircases, dado walls throughout the hallways on all floors, bespoke fitted wardrobes in the bedrooms, and a feature TV wall in the living room with a decorative acoustic wall panel. The living room and hallways are finished with Ted Todd Sugar Cane engineered flooring, adding warmth and character to the interior.
